Senate Town Hall
On November 9, 2021, The University of North Carolina Institute of Politics resumed its in-person programming with a U.S. Senate Town Hall! We welcomed candidates for US Senate, UNC students, and community members to our campus. Guests included State Senator Jeff Jackson, former State Senator Erica Smith, Dr. Tobias LaGrone, Dr. Richard Watkins, and Jen Banwart moderated by Dean Martin Brinkley of the UNC School of Law. This was an amazing opportunity to learn more about and connect with the candidates running for the U.S. Senate Seat in 2022.
