Senator Tillis’ office offers internships to provide students a unique opportunity to observe and participate in the workings of the United States Senate. Interns carry out a variety of responsibilities, such as answering calls from constituents, writing constituent correspondence, and giving tours of the U.S. Capitol. They also have the opportunity to write memos and letters, conduct research, and attend committee hearings. Further, interns will see and work on issues that are important to North Carolina.

The selected IOP student for Senator Tillis’ internship program should plan on working both Summer I and II Sessions (May 15 – August 11).
